Come and spend a day in Adelaide. Start the day with a stroll through the city where you can see the beautiful river and festival centre. Have a quick shop in Rundle Mall and venture down to the cosmopolitan Adelaide markets (Saturdays only).

Take a historic tramride to Glenelg and checkout the shops on Jetty Rd. Stop at the Grand for a coffee and then take a stroll along the beautiful esplanade.

Another great trip is to historic Hahndorf in the Adelaide foothills. This beautiful little town will take you back in time with its German heritage, one of the best places to have a pub lunch and then take a stroll down the main street and check out the many shops and bakeries. Take the scenic 'Chain of Ponds' drive back to Adelaide and stop off at the Chocolate factory and take a few tasty treats home.

An evening in Adelaide can be spent in one of the great restaurants to be found in this city. Try Grote or Gouger St or have some Tapas on Rundle St. If you come during the Festival you can then take in a show or check out some of the action at the fringe.
